Now featuring our new and spacious state of the art Fitness facility called the Prince Kahekili Fitness Room!  With thoughtful consideration, and expert input from the local Hawaiian community, the Prince Kahekili Fitness Room was named after Hawaiian royalty, the 25th King of Maui -- Prince Kahekili II (1737-1794).  Named after the ancient Hawaiian Gold of Thunder Kane-Hekili, this Maui Prince was known for his great strength and prowess in battle.  It is said that Prince Kahekili's strength was so great that it was compared to that of two men and he was greatly feared by his opponents.

Makena Beach & Golf Resort invites vacationers to keep up their work-out regimen and build their own strength at their new fitness facility aptly named after this Maui symbol of muscle and might.  The Prince Kahekili Fitness Center is Wailea-Makena's latest facility on the southern end of Maui.  Outfitted with all new, state-of-the-art cardiovascular workout equipment of Life Fitness, Star Trac and Free Motion.  The new location overlooks gardens and water features to create a pleasant and brightly-lit exercise environment.  Open daily from 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM, the Fitness Center is easily accessed with guest room keys for convenience.
