No shoes, no shirt? No problem! The Pool Snack Bar & Grill is just the place for barefoot and bikini-clad picnics by the pool or late afternoon cocktails and snacks in one of the shaded poolside cabanas. The Pool Bar & Grill at Makena offers grilled burgers and oven-hot pizzas served al fresco at poolside. The menu incorporates fresh island ingredients with touches of Latin flavor to match the bright festive colors of this pool side restaurant. Lined with brightly colored umbrellas and new modern tables and chairs, the restaurant features such menu items as Latin Spiced Shrimp Quesadillas, spiced with our hour Chile blend, seared rock shrimp in a whole wheat tortilla served with home-made roasted tomato salsa, guacamole, and sour cream or if your are looking for something to snack on try the popular Tostones - a Latin American favorite of deep fried plantains, smashed and fried to a crisp and served with our chipotle mayo and cilantro aioli. Looking for something lighter but still full of flavor try one of our farm-fresh salads like the Baby Spinach, Strawberry & Watermelon Salad, featuring jicama, macadamia nuts, artisan goat cheese, and drizzled with honey guajillo vinaigrette.
