The popular Café on The Green Restaurant, which boasts wide-angle views of Makena’s southernmost fairway and surrounding ocean vistas, will remain open daily for lunch, afternoon snacks and early dinner. Enjoy your favorite beverage at Café on the Green complimented with stunning views, cooling sea breezes, and al fresco dining on the cafe terrace. The Makena Golf Course Is Closed For Improvements.

The next phase of Makena's Beautifications begins with the closing of the Makena Golf Course for a course improvement program. Plans include for design elements to be true to the natural beauty of Makena, with its kiawe forest, indigenous trees, ancient rock formations, and natural streams. It will remain one of Maui’s only sea to mountain golf courses. The re-launch of the Makena Golf Course is expected to be in the first quarter of 2014.
