Directions to Makena Beach & Golf Resort from the Kahului Airport

Distance: 18 miles
Time: 40 minutes

        1. Proceed out of airport, following posted exit directions.
        2. At first traffic signal outside of Airport, veer LEFT at this signal, and follow Dairy Road (Costco is on your left).
        3. Traffic Light Landmarks
          4. #1 - Costco (on left)

          #2 - Kmart (on left)

          #3 - Union 76 Station (on right)

          #4 - Burger King / Pier One (on left)

          #5 - Home Depot / Harley Davidson (on left)

        #6 - First Assembly of God Church (on left)
      1. Continue on Dairy Road to the 6th traffic signal; get in LEFT TURN LANE (there are 2).
      2. Turn LEFT onto Pu'unene Avenue (State Hwy 311), following the sign to "Kihei, Wailea, & Makena."
      3. Continue straight onto Pi'ilani Hwy / State Hwy 31
      4. Continue on Hwy 31 approximately seven miles through 6 traffic signals until this stretch of road ends and you must turn RIGHT.
      5. Continue down the hill (in the left lane of traffic) where road ends at a stop light, with the Shops at Wailea in front of you.
      6. Turn LEFT onto Wailea Alanui at traffic signal.Continue on Wailea Alanui through Wailea into Makena, approximately 3 miles.
      7. Makena Beach & Golf Resort is on the right side.

      The Makena Shuttle makes it easy and convenient for you to get around.  Resort guests can utilize this complimentary first come, first serve shuttle service throughout their stay.  Simply advise the Bell staff attendants of your destination and they will he happy to assist you. The Makena Shuttle runs between the Wailea and Makena Resort areas.  It is an easy and convenient way to get to the Makena Golf Course and Tennis Club.
