Whatever your level of tennis ability, check out the Makena Tennis Club programs geared for the whole family. Daily clinics, group and private lessons, junior programs, and even a special package for honeymooners are offered. Tournaments and USTA league events are hosted throughout the year, and round robin mixers are held weekly and monthly, attracting players to Makena Tennis Club from all over Maui. If you are a 4.0 player or better don’t miss the Davis Cup Workout, a 1.5 hour drill session followed by another hour of actual double’s play.

Pro Shop

Makena Tennis Club boasts a full-service tennis Pro Shop with the latest in tennis fashion, rackets and accessories. Featuring brand names such as:

Demo Program

Our Demo program allows you to experience the latest technology in Wilson tennis rackets on our newly resurfaced courts. The friendly Pro Shop staff also offers racket stringing, towels, equipment rentals, player matching, and scheduling for tennis clinics and lessons. The Pro Shop at Makena Beach & Golf Resort is closed from Noon until 3 p.m. daily.  A wide variety of sports drinks, beers and wines and snacks are available in the pro-shop.

Café on the Green

Just a short walk from the Makena Tennis Club is the Café on the Green, an ideal location to enjoy a hearty lunch, icy cold cocktails and beverages, and sensational ocean and golf green views from the trellised, open-air balcony. Open from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. daily, Café on the Green features Pau Hana (Happy Hour) specials on beer, mai tais, and appetizers from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
